What Is An LCR Speaker?

One of the most important speakers in a two channel and multi-channel system, the LCR speaker fills in the front stage and is critical for serious 2.1, 5.1 or 7.1 audio systems where detail and audio precision are a must. The LCR speaker tackles the entire audio spectrum so lows, mids and highs are crystal clear. LCRs like our T65 are sold separately so you’ll need to purchase one for each channel.

Built with State-of-the-Art Components

Components that make our Black Series T65 ideal for multi-channel or high-end two-channel audio systems include two 6.5” carbon fiber cone woofers that deliver full and enriching bass tones. Carbon fiber is known after for its light weight yet durable design that is capable of handling plenty of power, so you can crank up the volume without fear of distortion. The surrounds, or the speakers’ suspension system, are made of durable Thermal Plastic Rubber (TPR) instead of foam. TPR has excellent flex properties and is stiffer and longer lasting than foam or other surround material. The T65 also includes a 1” titanium dome tweeter that reproduces high frequencies with pin-point accuracy. For the critical midrange frequencies, the OSD Black T65 includes a 4” cone for a wide and enveloping sound stage.  Adding to the audio perfection is a totally sealed enclosure with isolated internal chambers that keep vibration in the enclosure and not in the walls.  The T65 in-wall LCRs will sound incredible whether you mount them vertically or horizontally.
