Just Add Power has become a two-time CEDIA Product Hall of Fame inductee for its 3G Ultra 718 AVP transmitter product, while its MaxColor Series 2 won the CE Pro BEST award for AV-over-IP and the Residential Systems Best of Show award. Selected by a panel of judges comprising home technology professionals, CEDIA Product Hall of Fame inductees have transformed the CEDIA industry with the value they provide to integrators and end users.

“This is a huge milestone in Just Add Power’s history of delivering AV-over-IP excellence. At every stage of our product development, we continue to build on features and benefits that will propel the integration and user experience into the future,” Just Add Power chief executive officer and founder Ed Qualls says.

“To have our 3G Ultra transmitter join our 2G platform in the ranks of the elite products that have made a real and lasting impact on the industry is an incredible honour. To have the only two AV-over-IP products currently in the CEDIA Hall of Fame is a testament to the capabilities of the Just Add Power team that continues to develop these indispensable solutions.”

Introduced in 2015, Just Add Power’s 3G Ultra 718 AVP transmitter allows integrators to distribute UHD and 4K video to every zone over a single Cat-5e cable along with Dolby Digital 5.1 audio, transforming the signals to stereo audio for two-channel zones. It features ultra-low latency, image pull, instant-seamless switching, PoE, 3.5mm stereo audio output with adjustable delay and KVM support.

Part of Just Add Power’s lineup of 3G Ultra devices, integrators can mix and match to fit their hardware and budget requirements on 4K HDMI projects. The 718 AVP transmitter gives integrators a flexible, scalable solution for distributing UHD as well as stereo and multichannel audio over the network without the expense or limitations of traditional AV matrixes, while at the same time opening doors to applications such as video walls, without additional gear, software or wiring, speeding up installations.

Just Add Power’s multi-award winning MaxColor 4K60 Series 2 solutions include all the features and benefits of the MaxColor 4K60 Series 1 products with even more capabilities to support most robust applications. With the MaxColor Series 2, 4K60/4:4:4/36-bit-color video can be distributed over a 1GB managed network using CatX (Cat 5e minimum) cable or fiber cable, so integrators can use the cable that best fits their projects. It also boasts power over USB-C that can support KVM or a USB web camera signal over IP.

With the new ARC feature from Just Add Power, installers can easily send audio from a TV connected to a MaxColor 2 receiver across the network to another MaxColor 2 receiver, connected to an audio-video receiver or another ARC-enabled amplifier, making project design even easier and more flexible. Its ARC and USB features make it ideal for home office, gaming, or Twitch streaming setups.

MaxColor offers high-frame-rate, deep-colour and 4:4:4 chroma support to ensure that what is seen on the screen matches the output of the source with no subsampling or downscaling. The series delivers zero detectable latency, instant and seamless switching, 4K up- and downscaling and HDR management, while supporting all lossless audio formats and HDR10+, HLG and Dolby Vision for the best viewing experience. Additional features include image pop, push, pull and integrated control.
